Todd A. Angstadt and William R. Carlson recently defeated a neighbor’s attempt to remove a boundary line Oak tree under the Oakland Hazardous Trees Ordinance at binding arbitration. After receiving evidence and hearing argument, the arbitrator agreed with our assertion that the tree was healthy, viable and should remain in place, thus protecting the client's sentimental tree.
